Our players are beginning to return and we still pitch three days a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m.). Join us and everyone pitches. HORSESHOE INTEREST GROUP SEEKING PLAYERS
WE NEED YOU! We are giving FREE special event horseshoe lessons at the horseshoe pits located beside the Softvall Field. We meet at 8:00 a.m. every Tue., Thur. and Sat.
Sun City Grand furnishes the horseshoes and courts and our members/players furnish the free lessons. These lessons are open to all Sun City Grand residents, male or female.
We have a Snowbird Horseshoe League traveling team that pitches against 7 other horseshoe groups in 6 other valley locations. We play on their courts and they come here and play on our courts. You may want to try out for our traveling team. The Snowbird Horseshoe League begins in Jan., 2010 so you need to start practicing NOW.
Some people have told me that they pitched horseshoes at school, at work, at company and family gatherings, and other locations where they previously lived, but didn't know that Sun City Grand had horseshoe courts. Put your fears and trepidations aside and just show up at the pits at the avove times. We will reintroduce you to what you've been missing. And, WE NEED YOU!
